Hatfield 2nd World War Cemetery There are some 22 graves in the war cemetery of men who died of their injuries in the hospital set up in Hatfield House.Their details are recorded on the gravestones as below:

This is a fitting tribute to the men lost and the first time I’ve seen it. Thank you for collating it.
I wonder if you remember me – I am Bill & Joan Street’s daughter, Barbara. My Dad was with the 14th Battalion, I believe, I have a photo of his certificate from the King if it helps this site.
